The Waihou River needed a modern commercial marine precinct serving working vessels and the public, on a fast-track timeline tied to government funding.
What we did
Acting as Engineer to Contract under NZS 3910, Urban Solutions carried the wharf, pontoon, public boat ramp and haulage access from design through construction, working within fast-track consents.
The outcome
A new commercial marine precinct on the Waihou River, with four connected assets delivered under a single accountable contract.
